On his way to Corsica on behalf of the editorial board, Parisian journalist Rodion Lavroff has no idea what kind of trials he is going to face. He will travel around the island with a wondering theatre, will desperately fall in love and witness a brutal murder. Twenty years later, these events will come back to him. Taking up a dangerous investigation, the journalist will find himself in the middle of a criminal puzzle and will no longer understand who he really is: a ruthless whistle-blower or a man defending his love.
