<p><b>Valerie Clerehugh, PhD, BDS, FDSRCS (Ed), FHEA</b> is Emeritus Professor of Periodontology at the University of Leeds School of Dentistry, UK, where she was previously Head of the Division and Department of Restorative Dentistry. She is former President of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (BSP) and has been Chair of the British Society for Dental Research Periodontal Research Group. Val has served as Honorary Editor of BSP, Associate Editor of <i>Journal of Dentistry,</i> and Clinical Editor for the <i>British Dental Journal.</i> <p><b>Aradhna Tugnait, PhD, MDentSci, BChD, FDS RCS(Ed), FHEA</b> is Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Leeds School of Dentistry, UK. She is also an Education Associate at the General Dental Council, and a former member of the Council and Chair of the Teachers Section of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (BSP). <p><b>Michael R Milward, PhD, BDS, MFGDP, MFDS RCPS, FHEA</b> is Professor of Periodontology and Honorary Consultant at the University of Birmingham, UK. He is a founding member of the Photonics Research Group, and member of the Periodontology Research group at Birmingham School of Dentistry. He was former Director of Education at the Faculty of Medical & Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham and President of the of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (2023). <p><b>Iain L C Chapple, MBE, PhD, BDS, FDSRCPS, FDSRCS, CCST(RCS)</b> is Professor of Periodontology/Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry. He is former Head of Birmingham University Dental School UK, Associate Editor (AE) of <i>J Clinical Periodontology, J Periodontal Research,</i> and current AE for <i>Periodontology 2000.</i> He co-chairs the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) workshops, previously served as EFP Treasurer and Secretary General and President for the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (BSP). Iain's MBE was awarded in the 2022 Queen's New Years honours.
